R E S O L U T I O N 2020-223
WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island from
ZITSKI, LLC, to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, extend, remove, and
operate thereon, public utilities and appurtenances, including power lines and;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 22, 2020, for the purpose of
discussing the proposed acquisition of a twenty (20.0) foot utility easement located through a part of
Lot Six (6), Platte Valley Industrial Park Third Subdivision, in the City of Grand Island, Ha11 County,
Nebraska, and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot Six (6), Platte Valley Industrial Park
Third Subdivision, in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; thence
northerly along the westerly line of said Lot Six (6), a distance of thirteen (13.0) feet
to the ACTUAL Point of Beginning; thence easterly and parallel to the southerly line
of said Lot Six (6), a distance of one hundred thirty-five (135.0) feet to the point of
termination.
The above-described easement and right-of-way containing .062 acres, more or less,
as shown on the plat dated 8/24/2020, marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to acquire a public utility easement from ZITSKI, LLC, on the above-described tract of
land.
