WHEREAS, current City property is being dedicated by the City of Grand Island as
right-of-way to accommodate the Old Potash Highway Roadway Improvements; Project No. 2019-P-
1, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more particularly described as follows:
A TRACT OF LAND CONSISTING OF PART OF AN UNPLATTED TRACT LOCATED IN THE
NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER (NW '/4, NE'/4) OF SECTION TWENTY-
FOUR (24), TOWNSHIP ELEVEN (11) NORTH, RANGE TEN (10), WEST OF THE 6TH P.M.,
NEBRASKA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT NORTH QUARTER CORNER SECTION 24, T11N, R10W OF THE 6TH P.M., HALL
COUNTY, NEBRASKA; THENCE ON AN ASSUMED BEARING OF N89°28'39"E ALONG THE
NORTH LINE OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 24, A DISTANCE OF 1073.40
FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID UNPLATTED TRACT, SAID POINT ALSO BEING
THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N89°28'41 "E ALONG SAID NORTH LINE OF NE'/4 OF SEC.
24, A DISTANCE OF 85.84 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID UNPLATTED TRACT;
THENCE SO 1°56'43"W ALONG A EAST LINE OF SAID LINPLATTED TRACT, A DISTANCE OF 40.04
FEET; THENCE SO1°56'33"W ALONG A EAST LINE OF SAID UNPLATTED TRACT, A DISTANCE
OF 23.01 FEET; THENCE S49°50'39"E ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID UNPLATTED TRACT, A
DISTANCE OF 11.52 FEET; THENCE S&9°28'39"W A DISTANCE OF 91.33 FEET TO A POINT ON
THE WEST LINE OF SAID UNPLATTED TRACT; THENCE N00°57'24"W ALONG SAID WEST LINE,
A DISTANCE OF 30.50 FEET; THENCE N00°57'24" W A DISTANCE OF 40.00 FEET TO A POINT OF
BEGINNING. SAID TRACT CONTAINS 5,960 SF MORE OR LESS, OF WHICH 2,805 SF ARE
EXISTING AND 3,155 SF ARE NEW.
WHEREAS, such dedication of right-of-way has been reviewed and approved by the
City Legal Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to dedicate said right-of-way on the above described tract of land.
