RESOLUTION 2020-104
WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from an
affected property owner in Old Potash Highway Roadway Improvements; Project No. 2019-P-1

A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN PART OF LOT 11, BLOCK l,
NELSON SECOND SUBDIVISION, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA,
AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SECTION 19,
TOWNSHIP ELEVEN (11) NORTH, RANGE NINE (9) WEST OF THE
6TH P.M.; THENCE ON AN ASSUMBED BEARING OF S89°58'38"E
ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SECTION 19, A DISTANCE OF
86.67 FEET; THENCE S00°O1'22"W A DISTANCE OF 45.04 FEET TO
THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF OLD POTASH HIGHWAY,
POINT ALSO BEING THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE
S89°54'26"E ALONG THE SAID SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE, A
DISTANCE OF 29.60 FEET; THENCE S56°46'49"W A DISTANCE OF
82.41 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
WEBB ROAD; THENCE SO1°27'28"W ALONG THE SAID EAST
RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE, A DISTANCE OF 4.52 FEET; THENCE
N44°11'40"E A DISTANCE OF 56.60 FEET TO A POINT OF
BEGINNING. SAID PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT CONTAINS
758 SF MORE OR LESS.
WHEREAS, an agreement for the public utility easement has been reviewed and
approved by the City Legal Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to enter into the Agreement for the public utility easement on the above described tract of
land.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreements on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
