WHEREAS, public right-of-way is required by the City of Grand Island, from Eric M.
and Kenda D. Pollock, for construction of Moores Creek Drainage Ditch extension in the City of
Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more particularly described as follows:

DISTANCE OF 123834 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
CONTAINING 233 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
WHEREAS, agreements for the public right-of-way have been reviewed and
approved by the City Legal Department; and
WHEREAS, the cost of such acquisition is $220,825.00 and $64,075.00, for a total
amount of $284,900.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to enter into the agreements for the public right-of-way on the above described tracts of
land, in the amounts of $220,825.00 and $64,075.00, for a total amount of $284,900.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
