05/14/2019 Resolutions 2019-155RESOLUTION 2019-155 WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Crrand Island from R2S2, L.L.C., to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, extend, remove, and operate thereon, public utilities and appurtenances, including water lines and; WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 14, 2019, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of a ten (10.0) foot wide utility easement located through a part of Lot One (1), King's Crossing Subdivision, in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot One (1), thence running along the southerly line of said Lot One (1), on an assumed bearing of S89°57'S9"W, a distance of sixty- sixty and nine hundredths (66.09) feet to the ACTUAL Point of Beginning; thence continuing S89°57'S9"W along the southerly line of said Lot One (1), a distance of twenty (20.0) feet; thence N00°02'O1"W, a distance of ten (10.0) feet; thence N89°57' S9"E, a distance of twenty (20.0) feet; thence S00°02' O 1"E, a distance of ten (10.0) feet to the said Point of Beginning. The above-described easement and right-of-way containing a total of 200 square feet more or less as shown on the plat dated 4/1/2019, marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a public utility easement from R2S2, L.L.C. on the above-described tract of land.
