WHEREAS, on Decemb�er 19, 2017, by Resolution 2017-364, the City Council of the
City of Grand Island approved the bid of Chief Construction of Grand Island, Nebraska for
$3,122,701.00 for the construction of a new Emergency Management-911 Facility; and
WHEREAS, the buildin€; plans required redesign for is relocation from Fire Station
# 1 on Fonner Park Road to its current lc►cation on North Road; and
WHEREAS, redesign o:f the building to the North Road location also included
changes in room usages; and
switches; and
WHEREAS, one room r�equires carpeting and two flag poles require lighting and
WHEREAS, any changes to the original contract require Council approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, B]E IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEE�RASKA, to approve the payment to Chief Construction of
$4,996.00 for the installation of a drainage pipe, as documented in Change Order No. 4.
BE IT FURTHER RESO�LVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute such contract modification on b�ehalf of the City of Grand Island.
