01/08/2019 Resolutions 2019-18RESOLUTION 2019-18 WHEREAS, a sidewalk easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from Jared S. English and Elizabeth L. Buchanan at 1221 North Beal Street, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT FOUR (4), SAID POINT BEING THE ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE EASTERLY ON TI� NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT FOUR (4) A DISTANCE OF 8.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT FOUR (4), SAID POINT BEING 8.00 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT FOUR (4); THENCE NORTHERLY ON'TI� WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 4, A DISTANCE OF 8.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. SAID TRACT CONTAINS 31.99 SQUARE FEET MORE OR LESS. WHEREAS, an agreement for the sidewalk easement has been reviewed and approved by the City Legal Department; and WHEREAS, there is no cost for the acquisition of such easements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into the agreement for the sidewalk easement on the above described tract of land. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
