WHEREAS, on February 27, 2018, via Resolution No.2018-58, the City of Grand
Island awarded Blessing Construction of Kearney, Nebraska the bid in the amount of $1,975,887.43
for 13th Street Paving Improvements; Project No. 2018-P-1 and 13th Street Water Main
Improvements; Project No. 2018-W-5; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that modifications are necessary to complete such
project; and
WHEREAS, such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No. 1;
and
WHEREAS, the cost associated with such change order is $25,247.12, resulting in a
revised contract amount of $2,001,134.55.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1, at a cost of $25,247.12, between the City of Grand Island
and Blessing Construction of Kearney, Nebraska to provide the modifications.
