RESOLUTION 2018-122
WHEREAS, a temporary construction easement is required by the City of Grand
Island, from an affected property owner in 13�' Street Paving Improvements; Project No. 2018-P-1
project area:
Mitchel Pedersen and Brandi Pedersen— $20,397.00
Real estate located in the South One-Half of the South One-Half of the Southeast Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 11, Township ll North, Range 10 West ofthe Sixth Principal Meridian
in Hall County, Nebraska, and more particularly described as follows:
Referring to the Southeast corner of said Section 11, thence N01 °54'35 "W (assumed bearing) on the
East line of said Section 11, 169.10 feet; thence S88°OS'25 "W, 33.00 feet to a point on the West
right-of-way of North Road, said point being the point of beginning; thence S89°27'S2 "W, 20. 01
feet; thence NOl °54'35 "W, 30. 01 feet; thence N89°27'S2 "E, 13. 00 feet; thence N01 °54'35 "W,
130. 04 feet to a point on said West right-of-way line; thence on said West right-of-way line for the
next two (2) courses; 1) N89°27'S2 "E, 7. 00 feet, 2) S01 °54'35 "E, 160. OS feet to the point of
beginning. Containing an area of 1,510.43 square feet (0.035 acres), more or less.

WHEREAS, such Temporary Construction easement has been reviewed and approved
by the City Legal Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to compensate the affected property owner for the Temporary Construction easement on
the above described tract of land, in the total amount of $20,397.00.
