03/27/2018 Resolutions 2018-79RESOLUTION 2018-79 WHEREAS, a sidewalk easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from Blender, LLC at 3812 West 13th Street, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska and more particularly described as follows: Referring to the Southeast Corner of said East One-Half, Thence N01 °37'32 "W (assumed bearing),33.00 feet to a point on the North right-of-way of 13`h Street; thence S89°07'S9"W on said North right-of-way, 272. 02 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing S89°07'S9"W on said North right-of-way, 523. 71 feet; thence N00°52 '01 "W, S. 00 feet; thence N89°07'S9 "E, 523.71 feet; thence S00°52'01 "E, 5.00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing an area of 2, 618.55 square feet (0.060 acres), more or less. WHEREAS, an Agreement for the sidewalk easement has been reviewed and approved by the City Legal Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to enter into the Agreement for the sidewalk easement on the above described tract of land. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
