11/14/2017 Resolutions 2017-313RESOLUTION 2017-313 WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island from Southeast Crossings, LLC, to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, extend, remove, and operate thereon, public utilities and appurtenances, including lines and transformers; and; WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 14, 2017, for the purpose of discussing the proposed acquisition of a utility easement located through a part of Lot Eleven (11), Woodland Second Subdivision, an Addition to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot Eleven (11), Woodland Second Subdivision, an Addition to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; thence southeasterly along a line being 64°43'33" right from the northerly line of said Lot Eleven (11), a distance of one hundred eighty five (185.0) feet to the point of termination. The side lines of the above described tract shall be prolonged or shortened as required to terminate on the boundary of Grantor's property. The above-described easement and right-of-way containing 0.085 acres more or less, as shown on the plat dated 10/12/2017, marked Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Southeast Crossings, LLC, on the above- described tract of land.
