03/14/2017 Resolutions 2017-72RESOLUTION 2017-72 WHEREAS, at the February 14, 2017 Council meeting, Council awarded the contract for the replacement of Pine Street Pump Station Pump #3 to Iowa Pump Works, Inc, of Ankeny, Iowa in the amount of $28,594.50; and WHEREAS, during review of the existing piping requirements of Pine Street Pump #3, it was found that significant piping modifications would need to be made to match the new pump; and WHEREAS, as a result of these modifications, Change Order # 1 was prepared for an additional $14,701.80 with a revised contract amount of $43,296.30. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that Change Order # 1 for Pine Street Pump Station Pump #3 Replacement is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign Change Order #1 on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
