08/23/2016 Resolutions 2016-204, Resolution #2016-204 was pulled from the August 23, 2016 City Council agenda at the request of the applicant. RESOLUTION 2016-204 WHEREAS, an application was iiled by Simbert, LLC doing business as Peacock Lounge, 2430 N. Broadwell Avenue for a Class "C" Liquor License; and WHEREAS, a public hearing notice was published in the Grand Island Independent as required by state law on August 17, 2016; such publication cost being $16.52; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 23, 2016 for the purpose of discussing such liquor license application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that: The City of Grand Island hereby recommends approval of the above- identified liquor license application contingent upon final inspections. The City of Grand Island hereby makes no recommendation as to the above- identified liquor license application. The City of Grand Island hereby makes no recommendation as to the above- identified liquor license application with the following stipulations: The City of Grand Island hereby recommends denial of the above-identified liquor license application for the following reasons: The City of Grand Island hereby recommends approval of Kristen Ackerman, 1118 West 8�` Street as liquor manager of such business.
