An ordinance rezoning a certain hact of land within the zoning jurisdiction of the
City of Grand Island; changing the land use classification of a tract of ]and located in a part of
the W%z of Seciion 35, Township 17 NoRh, Range t0 West of the 6`�' PM in Hall County,
Nebraska, from TA T�ansitional Agriculture Zone to LLR I.arge Lot Residential; directing the
sueh zoning change and classification be shown on fhe Official Zoning Map o�F the City of Grand
Island; amending She provisions of Section 36-44; and providing for publication and an effective
date of this ordinance.
WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission on March 2, 2016, held a public
heazing and madc a rccommendation on the proposed zoning of such area; and
WIiCRCAS, notice as required by Section t9-923, R.R.S. 1943, has been given to
the Boards of Edueation of the school distcicts in Hall County, Nebraska; and
WHGREAS, after public hearing on Mazch 22, 2016, the City Council found and
determined the change in zoning be approved and made.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRANDISLAND,NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. The following iract of land is hereby rezoned, reclassifed and
changed from TA Transitional Agiculture Zone to LLR Lazge Lot Residentiai Zone:
A trac[ of land eommencing at the southwest corner of Lot 16, Westroads Estates
Fourth Subdivision; thence on and assumed bearing of N89°28'40"L-, along the
south line of Lots 16, 17, and 29, Westroads Estates Fourth Subdivisioq a
distance of 566.16 feet to the northwest cornec of Lot 1, Westroads Estates Fifth
Subdivision; Thence S00°27'38"E, along the west line of said Lot 1 Westroads
Estates Pifth 5ubdivision, a distance of 341.08 feet to the souYhwest corner of said
Lot ], Westroads Fstates Fifth Subdivision; thence S89°28'11"W a distance of
566.56 feet: thence N00°23'36"W a distance of 34119 feet to the Point of
beginning, all located in the W%z of Section 35 Township 11 Nonh, Range 10
West of the 6`h PM in Hall Counry, Nebraska

SECTION 2. That the Official 'Loning Map of the Ciry of Grand Island,
Nebraska, as established by Section 36-51 of the Gcand Island City Code be, and lhe same is,
horeby ordered to be changed, amended, and completed in accordance with this ordinance.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after
its passage and publicatioq withi� fifteen days in one issue of the Grand Island Independent as
provided by law.
