Lot Residontial Zone and all of [,ot'Three (3) of Vanosdall Second Subdivision and the notth
half the of the right of way for U.S. Highway 34 from TA Transitional AgriculYUre and B2-AC
General Business with au Arterial Commercia] Overlay to B2-AC General Business with an
Arteria] Commercial Overlay all in the South Half (S'/:) of the Southwest Quarter (SW'/<) of
Seetion Twenty Seven (27), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine (9) WesC of the 6�h P.M. in
Hall County, Nebraska, directing that such zoning ehange and classification be shown on the
Offieial Zo�ing Map of the City of Grand Island pursuant to t'he provisions of Sections 36-44 and
36-51; and providing for publication and an effeetive date of this ordinance.
WfIHREAS, the Regionaf Planning Commissiun on January 6, 2016, held a
public heazing and made a recommendation on the proposed zoning of such area; and
WI-IEREAS, notice as required by Section 19-923, R.R.S. 1943, has been given to
the Boards of Education of the schoo] districts in Hall County, Nebraska; and
WHEREAS, after public hearing on January 26, 2016, the Ciry Counci] found and
determined the change in zoning is consistent with the compcehensive development plan and
should be approved a�d made.

same is, hereby ordered to be chauged, ame�ded, and completed in accordance with this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shal] be in force a�d take effect from and after
its passage and publicatioq within fifreen days in one issue of the Giand Island Independent as
provided by law.
