WHEREAS, the City of Grand island invited sealed bids for the Heartland Public
Shooting Park Entry Road Rehabilitation/Replacement, according to plans and specifications on file
with the Parks and Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS,on March 12, 2015,three(3)bids were received, opened and reviewed;
and
WHEREAS, J.T.I. Asphalt Paving Co. from Grand Island, Nebraska submitted a
bid in accordance with the terms of the advertisement of bids, plans and specifications and all
other statutory requirements contained therein, such bid being in the amount of$183,034.80 and
an alternate bid of$22,109.90 for ,,■.total contracted amount of 8205,144.70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the bid of I.I.L. Asphalt Paving Co. from
Grand island,Nebraska, in the amount of$183,034.80 and an alternate bid of 822,109.90 for a total
contracted amount of $205,144.70 for Heartland Public Shooting Park Entry Road
Rehabilitation/Replacement is hereby approved as the lowest responsible bid.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Grand island, Nebraska, March 24, 2015.
