ORDINANCE NO. 9471 An ordinance amending the City Code delineating the responsibilities of the Finance Department for the preparation of the proposed annual budget. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Section 2-39 of the City Code shall be amended to read as follows: The Finance Director shall be responsible for the preparation of the annual estimates of revenues and expenditures of the proposed budget by fund, department, program, and line item for the presentation of a complete financial plan for the City to the Mayor and Council at least 45 days prior to the consideration and adoption of the annual appropriations ordinance by the governing body. SECTION 2. The validity of any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof.
