06/25/2013 Resolutions 2013-198 -- RESOLUTION 2013-198
WHEREAS,the City of Grand Island has developed a transportation project,US-30
Drainage Improvement, for which Federal funds will be used; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island as a sub-recipient of Federal-Aid funding is
charged with the responsibility of expending said funds in accordance with Federal, State and local
laws,rules,regulations,policies and guidelines applicable to the funding of the Federal-Aid project;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island and Kirkham Michael & Associates, Inc. of
Omaha, Nebraska wish to enter into a Construction Engineering Services Agreement to provide
construction oversight related to the US Highway 30 Drainage Improvement project for the Federal-
Aid project.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,NEBRASKA,that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
sign the attached Construction Engineering Services Agreement between the City of Grand Island
and Kirkham Michael &Associates, Inc. of Omaha, Nebraska.
