at the request of the Public Works Department.
RESOLUTION 2008-322
WHEREAS, on September 9, 2008, by Resolution 2008-242, the CityofGrand Island
awarded The Diamond Engineering Co. of Grand Island, Nebraska the bid in the amount of
$153,620.00 for Concrete Pavement Repair Project No. 2008-P-4; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that modifications to the work to be performed by
The Diamond Engineering Co. are necessary; and
WHEREAS, such modifications have been incorporated into Change Order No. l ;and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that modifications to the work to be done by The
Diamond Engineering Co. are necessary; and
WHEREAS, the result of such modifications will increase the contract amount by
$18,875.64 for a revised contract price of $172,495.64,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 between the City Of Grand Island and The Diamond
Engineering Co. of Grand Island, Nebraska to provide the modifications set out as follows:
