WHEREAS,The Nebraska Department of Economic Development has notified City
Staff of additional Disaster Relief Funding, and
WHEREAS, The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is an eligible unit of the Disaster
Relief Funding authorized to file an application under the Community Development Block Grant
Program; and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to
proceed with the formulation of any and all contracts,documents or other memoranda between the
City of Grand Island and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for acceptance of the
grant application.
