07/26/2011 Resolutions 2011-174RESOLUTION 2011 -174 WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from Five Points Bank, to survey, construct, inspect, maintain, repair, replace, relocate, extend, remove, and operate thereon, public utilities and appurtenances, including lines and transformers; and; WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 26, 2011, for the purpose ofdiscussing the proposed acquisition of an easement located in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; and more particularly described as follows: The southerly ten (10.0) feet of the westerly two hundred sixty (260.0) feet of the northerly one hundred thirty five (135.0) of Lot Six (6) Home Subdivision. The above - described easement and right -of -way containing 0.06 acres, more or less, as shown on the plat dated 7/7/2011, marked Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is, authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Five Points Bank, on the above - described tract of land.
