WHEREAS, quotes were secured by the Parks Maintenance Division of the Parks and
Recreation Department for the purchase and delivery of a sportsfield conditioner, Red Diamond
Agrilime; and
WHEREAS, Bones Trucking of Ottawa, Kansas submitted the low quote at a price of
$19,695.00 for 325 tons of product; and
WHEREAS, cost of the product exceeded the original purchase price of $19,695.00
by $1,803.94 and therefore, council approval is needed to authorize payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that payment of the remaining balance of
$1,803.94 to Bones Trucking of Ottawa, Kansas for the purchase and delivery of Red Diamond
Agrilime is hereby approved.
