05/24/2011 Resolutions 2011-125RESOLUTION 2011 -125 WHEREAS, the City of Grand Island Public Works Department prepared a Project Programming Request to the Nebraska Department of Roads for the Various Locations in Grand Island Resurfacing Project; and WHEREAS, such request was approved by the Nebraska Department of Roads on April 5, 2011; and WHEREAS, the total project cost is currently estimated at $2,747,266, with $549,453 being the responsibility of the City of Grand Island; and WHEREAS, an agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads is required to proceed with this project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the agreement with the Nebraska Department of Roads for the Various Locations in Grand Island Resurfacing Project is hereby approved; and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Grand Island.
