RESOLUTION 2007-113
WHEREAS, a public utility easement is required by the City of Grand Island, from
Jerome K. Schoel and Brenda L. Schoel, Husband and Wife, to install, upgrade, maintain, and repair
public utilities and appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 22, 2007, for the purpose of
discussing the proposed acquisition of an easement located in a part of the East Half of the Southeast
Quarter (E '/z SE '/4) of Section Twenty Five (25), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Ten (10),
West of the 6`h P.M., now known as part of Lot Three (3) Pedcor Subdivision and Lot One (1) and
Lot Two (2), Pedcor Second Subdivision in the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, the
utility easement being more particularly described as follows:
The westerly twenty (20.0) feet of Lot Three (3) Pedcor Subdivision and the
westerly thirty (30.0) feet of Lot One (1) and the westerly thirty (30.0) feet of Lot
Two (2) Pedcor Subdivision.
The above-described easement and right-of--way containing a total of 1.216 acres,
more or less, as shown on the plat dated April 26, 2007, marked Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, that the City of Grand Island be, and hereby is,
authorized to acquire a public utility easement from Jerome K. Schoel and Brenda L. Schoel,
Husband and Wife, on the above-described tract of land.
